Welcome one and welcome all to Retro Freak Reviews’ third anniversary! Cue the confetti and the fireworks! It’s hard to believe that’s been 3 years since I started rambling about old computer games. And for this magnanimous occasion, we’ve prepared not only a review of a true classic, but perhaps of the most influential PC game of all times: Doom!
Blimey, it’s been a while hasn’t it? OK, first things first, I’d like to apologise for the absence, mostly due to personal stuff and some profesional stuff here and there. To make up for it, I’ll review two games in one go (well, more like two parts of one game). Time to protect the galaxy with Commander Keen!
One of the early ways to distribute computer software before the advent of the Internet was through shareware. It was a great way for small software companies to present and distribute their products freely. Not to be confused with demos!
